Production efficiency
BOCO FIT products can be made at today’s high web speeds. Compared to conventional products, machine output with the BOCO FIT design is 10 to 15% higher, due to lower material length for same in-use sizes. Overall the combing can be done by ultrasonic bonding techniques (exceptions: CLEAN SKIN overfold glue dots or wetness indicator if desired).
As the product web is limited by straight lines on both sides, a “multi-lane” process can multiply the output of a manufacturing line.
Flexibility
The web stacking technology enables the use of narrow web widths and the production of the full size range on a single base machine, requiring only three format change parts for each size.
Diapers / Briefs and pant-type products can be made on the same machine.
Investment
Due to the low complexity of the process steps the total machine is very compact, energy efficient and at low production cost. Equipment costs are significantly down, especially compared to conventional pants making lines.
